Firstly I am Cornish born and bred and have only left the county under duress as there was no suitable University courses locally!

I have a strong practical background in the construction industry having spent most of my College and University holidays labouring for various trades on projects from a simple repair on a roof defect to multi million pound renovation of a Listed Country Estate.

I have a good understanding on modern and historic methods of construction, from a Contemporary Timber Framed Eco Homes to a Cob and Thatched cottage. I like to provide a strong opinion within my reports rather than recommending ‘specialist contractors’ for standard defects.

I feel I have an edge over many of my competitors who may not have had any practical ‘on site’ experience and may have had limited experience of properties within the county. I trade below the VAT threshold enabling private clients to save 20%.
